Maxed Out | Maxi Dresses to the Rescue | KP FUSION
Last Friday I was running late for an event but needed to find something cute to wear so I hopped in one of my favorite stores to find something in a flash. I knew I wanted a dress (I was feeling flirty and wanted my look to reflect that), but being that I’m short and hippy, it’s not always so easy to find something that quick. I tried on a maxi dress for the first time and I fell in love! I always thought I was too short to wear them but boy was I wrong! The key to wearing one is the fit-I went down a size, which got rid of a lot of excess material, and I paired it with a shrunken cardigan so I was able to hide my problem areas without it dragging my whole look down. Here are a few that I found online that are great for spring. I knew that I would be standing on concrete for a few hours so I wore jeweled flats, but accesorized with sunnies, heels, and a floppy hat, you’ll be ready for just about any occasion. I’ll definitely be adding more to my summer wardrobe!
