Stylist Inspiration | Russian Vogue | On The Verge of Accute

Black and white will forever be timeless and chic. Edgy, bohemian, or pure sophistication-it doesn’t matter what look you’re going for -when you’re putting together a look using this palette, it just works.

Styled by Olga Dunina and photographed by Jason Kibbler, Alla Kostromichova’s looks in On The Verge of Accute pushes boundaries without going overboard. Insanely luxurious (Gucci, Tom Ford, Mugler, Balmain, Cartier and more, plus some exquisite fur), I love how Dunina mixed the prints and textures. There’s a dark sensuousness to the styling that pulls me in; with her severe brows and Cruella Deville streak it’s like you’re peaking into the closet of a high society woman in a gothically beautiful world (with a pinch of old hollywood glamour thrown in). The styling is anything but minimal (the devil’s in the details) but the looks are actually quite attainable.
