How did you get into blogging?
I realized I had a serious fashion fixation that needed a more personalized social media outlet.

What has been the best thing about it? Hardest?
The best thing about blogging is having the opportunity to meet like-minded people who are doing the same thing.

What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog?
Work full-time as a research consultant, spend time with family and friends, run, yoga, and of course, shop!

Dream Job:
One that I’m happy waking up to every single day.

Describe your look in five words:
My look is constantly evolving.

Who/what influences your style?
Music, friends, photography and art.

Who are some of your favorite designers?
Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Theory, Pierre Hardy

Where are some of your favorite places to shop?
In the winter when it’s cold, I like to shop from my couch. My favorites of the moment are ShopSosie.com and ASOS.com for affordable dresses and unique separates; and LorisShoes.com and BlowfishShoes.com for winter-appropriate wedges and boots!

What’s one item in your wardrobe that you can’t live without?
My Cynthia Rowley satchel – it holds everything I need to carry.

What’s a classic item that every woman should own?
A watch.

Which trend(s) were you most excited to try this season?
Faux fur vests! So cozy.

Fashion on Film: Which movies inspire you?
Love Story (with Ali Mcgraw) and the Devil Wears Prada

Three magazines that you MUST read monthly:
Michigan Avenue (Chicago), InStyle, Glamour

Three items in your makeup bag:
Diorshow mascara, Benefit Cosmetics PosieTint blush, and Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer

Favorite color of lipstick/lipgloss:
Chanel Coco Rouge in Confidentielle

Essie Smokin’ Hot

Words of (style) wisdom:
Invest in quality over quantity – these pieces will add an exclamation point to the basics you’re wearing!

The most important question of all: cookies, cupcakes, or ice cream?
Can I throw a wildcard? Pinkberry fro yo – with cookie-crumble toppings!

Thanks Hallie!
