Ok my fellow fashionistas and cool hunters, this Thursday marks the kickoff to Memphis’ Fashion Weekend, the city’s largest fashion event to help promote Memphis’ emerging fashion designers. Benefiting Arts Memphis and the Emerging Memphis Designer Project (EMPD), festivities include 2 days of runway shows, boutique events, and more. 2013 Collections will be show from designers including Hilton Hollis, Vince, Waverly Grey, Narcissus NY, Brave Design and more. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS Thursday, April 4 Alchemy Restaurant 5:00-7:00 Kick Off Party with sponsors, VIPs and designers Friday, April 5 The Cadre Building 7:30-10:00 Runway Show Saturday, April 6 Memphis College of Art 12:00-4:00 Local Boutique Events 7:30-10:00 Runway Show 10:30 After Party – Minglewood Hall – General Admission and VIP ticket holders are invited to this event. There will be public admission for $20. General admission is $50/night, and VIP passes are $150/weekend. For those that won’t be able to attend the shows but would still like to have a little fun and mingle, there will be trunk shows and other events at various boutiques around town on Saturday: I will be a busy little bee: KP FUSION will be in attendance for the shows (and to see if I can capture some street style and BTS shots!
