The Emerging Memphis Designer Project (EMPD) was created by MFW to help foster the growth of Memphis’ Fashion Community. There were 14 designers selected (chosen from art students, costumers, & design students) and a total of 31 looks were shown based off the sketches that were submitted for Spring/Summer 2013. Chosen Designers: Brittan Jones, Elizabeth Crider, Nick Hall & Ahron Thomas, KAren Kroog, Madison Miller & Adair Smith, Megan Travis Carr, Najee Strickland, Regina Dickerson, Sarah Hascher, Star Hawks, Tara Skelley, Terial Lee, Mari Givens, & Molly Doan.
