CoverGirl recently launched a new foundation collection, Outlast Stay Formula 3 in 1 Foundation ($9.79), which serves as a primer, foundation, and concealer all in one. As someone that loves testing out drugstore brands, i love seeing if i can get more bang for my buck! The formula is designed for all skin-types, with sheer to medium coverage. It is buildable yet lightweight, so skin should not feel heavy or cakey. I picked up 2 colors, one from the main collection, and one from the Queen Collection, which is geared more towards women of color. I was able to find matches in both, however, the time of year -aka whether I have a tan or not- determines which one is the more perfect match. If you have more cool or pink undertones, definitely select from the main collection. I am Golden Tan (857) in the main collection: and Classic Bronze (Q810) in the Queen Collection. After about a month of use, I have to say I am a fan! I love the weight of foundation, and it gives great everyday coverage. While I wouldn’t use it as a concealer (my dark circles need a little more help), if you find that you only need a pinch of concealer, then this alone would do the trick. I have combination skin, but my shine was at a minimal. I got in a good 5 hours before I needed to touch up. Also, it did NOT change colors on my skin once it oxidized, which was a big plus (for some it has, so it may depend on skin, moisturizer, etc)! TIP: your foundation brush is EVERYTHING. You only need one pump to do a full face so use a quality brush or beauty blender sponge. If you apply right after your moisturizer, you will have a flawless finish!
