The oil cleansing method has been around forever, but over the last year or so, brands have really gotten on the facial oil bandwagon. Garnier recently put their hand in with their Clean + Nourishing Cleansing Oil ($5.99). Made with jojoba + macadamia nut oil, the cleanser helps dissolve makeup without drying out skin. The key is to make sure that your hands and face are dry when you apply it. I let mine sit on my face for a few minutes or apply with an exfoliator; the oil isn’t very heavy and it should’t clog pores, and skin feels really soft and hydrated after a few uses. While it is marketed to those with dry skin, it’s great to have for days when your skin feels a little parched, and at $5.99, it’s budgt friendly.
