Beauty Buy | Wet n Wild MegaSlicks Balm Stain Moisturizing Lip Color

With so many brands on the chubby stick kick lately, it’s been kinda hard to decipher which products are worth it and which you should skip. I’ve had a great record with 90% of Wet n Wild’s products so when they launched theirs I immediately picked one up. Not quite a lipstick but more than a lip balm,  Wet n Wild MegaSlicks Balm Stain Moisturizing Lip Colors are a must-have for women who want to test color but aren’t too keep on anything super-intense.

Enriched with Acai Palm Oil, the stains glide on smoothly with a buttery texture, have a slight cooling effect, and doesn’t feather. The darker shades DO stain, but it fades evenly. My only disappointment? There are ONLY 6 colors! At $3 a pop (and most have a $1 instant coupon on the packaging), they’re totally worth it.

While they’re not quite as pigmented as Clinique’s Chubby Sticks, they are definitely a good dupe for them. My 2 favorites are A Stiff Pink (a sheer bright pink that’s so pretty with glowy skin) and Lady and the Vamp (great for those who want to try the dark lip trend. Load up on mascara to balance it out w/o being too gothy).

Have you tried these balm stains yet? Which is your fave?

    1. Walgreens! When they first launched, they all had $1 coupon on them. They also run a lot of sales with their products so sometimes you can get them even waaaay cheap.
