Last Thursday, Madewell hosted a Fashion Fund Party as part of the festivities for Memphis Fashion Week. Attendees were able to nosh on treats, sip signature cocktails from Alchemy, and most importantly-SHOP! A percentage of the sales that night benefited the EMDP, created to help cultivate the growing community of designers in Memphis. The Oh Clementine was my fave. It was light, citrusy, and will probably be my summer cocktail. I’ve seen DJ Coolly out and about but this was my first time really hearing her spin. When she mixed in some Solange, Daft Punk, and Paula Abdul? I was SOLD. She spun at all of the events and KILLED. Question the Answer also had some new pieces on display.
