Snapshots | Black Cherries x Graphic Eyeliner

Last night I was testing out a few beauty products and before I knew it, I’d created this graphic eye. Nobody likes makeup to go to waste so I took a few pics and posted it on IG.

I was inspired by Rihanna’s Harper’s Bazaar Arabia cover, but I made it a little different to fit my eye shape and went darker with the lippy.

Harper s Bazaar Arabia Rihanna

Foundation: Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse in Caramel (I usually mix this bc it’s a little dark but I didn’t this time to give me a little tan).
Concealer: Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 25 + 30
Powder (Undereye): Milani the Multitasker Face Powder in Medium (3) (brown girls can use a foundation powder 1-2 shaders for undereye instead of translucent. It highlights but still has a little warmth to is so you don’t look ashy).
Bronzer: Wet n Wild Color Icon Bronzer + Blush in Everything Under the Sun
Blush: NYX Powder Blush in Copper + Milani Baked Bronzer in Luminoso
Face Powder (to set): NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat Powder Foundation in Warm Beige
Brows: E.l.F. Studio Cream Eyeliner in Coffee (this is a GREAT dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade!)
Eyeliner: NYC Liquid Eyeliner in Black
Mascara: Rimmel London Extra WOW Lash in Extreme Black
Lipstick: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Black Cherry

I’m waiting for my tripod to come in so that I can use my Canon to practice some more beauty looks (and finally use up all of this makeup I have, lol).  What beauty looks do you guys like to see?

  1. Wow! At first, I thought that your picture was from a fashion magazine! You look awesome. I am so in love with crazy wings and cat eyes like the ones you have been inspired with. Rihanna is so inspiration in terms of bold looks:)

    1. thank you so much! I had so much fun creating this. My only wish is that I’d taken the pic with my “good” camera lol. I’m gonna research different liner looks. They’re not practical for every day (unless you’re an MUA), but I think they’d be cool to wear out one night, you know? And I love that Rihanna takes so many different risks with her looks. She executes them flawlessly.
