Travel Essentials for a Beachy Getaway | KP FUSION
This weekend I’m finally, FINALLY headed to the beach for a few days, and one of the things I’ve been dealing with all week is figuring out what to pack. Obviously I’ll have sunscreen, magazines, and my camera, but my biggest issue is finalizing what clothes to pack. This trip will be aaaall about relaxing in the sun so I don’t want to tak too much, but I still want to have options (just in case). VILA neon mini dress, $27 / H M white top, $12 / H M gray top, $12 / J Crew j crew swimwear,$78 / Chinti and Parker mini skirt,$215 / Dorothy Perkins clothing, $34 / Joules ruffle tankini, $39 / O’Neill ankle strap shoes, $38 / J Crew straw tote bag, $50 / DailyLook tribal bracelet,$10 / Vince camuto earrings, $20 / J Crew necklace,$38 / Michael Stars fitted hat, $17 / Metal glasses, $9 Traveling Light Swimwear: Tankinis are my go to. You have a little more versatility than a one-piece, but you aren’t as exposed. Clothing: Cover-ups are a must have, so why not have one that looks like a chambray shirt and can do double duty with your other pieces? A tank, knit cardi, joggers (which I’m obsessed with right now. I already own 3 pairs) and a skirt in neutral colors can be mixed and matched, and a cute short dress in a bright pop of color can be worn for dinner or a day of sight-seeing. Accessories: Keep it simple: delicate gold jewelry, a fedora, and flat 2 tone flat sandals that can be worn with anything will keep it all light. Pack it in a sturdy straw bag and you’re good to go!
