Aveeno Positively Radiant Targeted Tone Corrector | Review | KP FUSION
As part of the Influenster program, I get to periodically sample products for review. I received a full size sample of Aveeno’s Positively Radiant Targeted Tone Corrector (retails for $15.99), a lightweight cream to help brighten the skin, reduce the look of dark spots and discolorations, and even skin tone in as little as two weeks. It contains vitamin A and ACTIVE NATURALS® Total Soy Complex, is oil-free, and also noncomodegenic. I’ve used Aveeno cleansing products in the past and know the skin brightening power of soy, so I was eager to try a concentrated cream to help with the unevenness I get from being in the sun. The Corrector is a lightweight but thick cream, so it sinks into skin; applied in both the AM and PM, it can be worn under moisturizer or sunscreen for additional protection. This does NOT contain sunscreen, so it shouldn’t be worn alone. While I didn’t see any major improvement with the dark spots, my skin does appear to be slightly brighter, and the unevenness is less noticeable on my cheeks. It typically takes me at least 30 days to see a real improvement with new skincare products, however, so I will continue to use this one over the next 2 weeks. I didn’t experience any tingling, but it does have a light fragrance, so those with sensitive skin may not be able to use it twice a day. TIP: Any time you’re using a product to help with a skin issue, may sure you’re exfoliating to remove dead cells. That could be once a day or three days a week, but if you don’t remove the dead cells, the product won’t absorb properly. I use a Clarisonic a few days a week which makes a world of a difference on my face, but if it’s too powerful for your skin, find a non-abrasive scrub or make your own to ensure you slough everything off. I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. Decor File | Cute Knobs Under $20 The One Step All Fashion Bloggers Should Do To Their Photos
