Andrea + I are both die hard SATC fans, so when it came time to reshoot her tulle skirt for her etsy shop, we both thought about Carrie Bradshaw. Not only were we referencing her iconic tutu from the credits, but she also wears a mint green tulle skirt in the final episode of Season 6 that was so ahead of its time. Instead of paring it with a blazer like she initially planned, (it was just too hot) she scrapped it, switched up her shoes, and we pulled earrings + a fun patterned clutch from K’Presha. I found a treelined street to give us a little shade (shooting in direct sunlight at 2pm is a bit too harsh) and we had a little fun. The cool thing about a tulle skirt is that it really can be worn in an “everyday” setting. You don’t have to reserve it for special times. Although Andrea kept it simple with a cream cami + heels, another fun way to wear it is with a graphic tee in a complimentary color,+ booties, a denim jacket + a button down, or make it more work apropos with a fitted blazer + stillettos.
