While many use Social Media to follow their favorite celebs, I prefer to follow those that help them develop their iconic looks. Celebrity MUA Kathy Jeung (The Magnet Agency) has worked with Rashida Jones, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Pink to name a few, but lately she has been killin’ it with British singer Rita Ora. Rita’s look for her Elle Korea November 2014 spread (flawless skin + a bright, bold lip) is signature, but I had to find out how to recreate the look-I seriously can’t get enough of a nice red lip. I follow Kathy on IG and she graciously gave me the deets when I inquired what she used: “Lip pigment as a base coat adds staying power and enhances vibrancy of color, so first apply M.A.C.’s Lipmix in Crimson, and then top with Kate Moss for Rimmel London Lasting Finish Matt in Kiss of Life 111.” Thanks Kathy! I’ve never used M.A.C’s pigments before but Kate Moss’ collection with Rimmel is AMAZING (super creamy and pigmented), so I will be picking this one up.
