Back in September, DJ Coolly booked me for a session to get images for her upcoming website + blog relaunch. Coolly is known as “The Runway DJ” because she’s the go-to DJ for any and every fashion related event in the city. She DJ’d Memphis Fashion Week this past Spring, and she’s worked with both Macy’s and other local businesses for their events. She has her own funky, eclectic style, and the girl can seriously rock a party. We met downtown to shoot, and I was able to find a few locations for her 2 looks within a block radius. That’s the cool thing about this city: there’s a great mix of old and new architecture downtown, so you can find a nice setup whichever way you turn.
