Saturday was super busy for me: in addition to going to Macy’s “Meet the Experts” Beauty Event, I had a photo-shoot, a friend’s art exhibit, and Macy’s “Style of the Soul Era” Event to attend. My friend and fellow blogger Andrea Fenise was the host, so I knew I had to pop in to see some of the looks that she put together. With “Style of the Soul Era” being the theme, Andrea put together looks inspired by the 60s + 70s, but with a modern twist. You could see elements from the decades in the colors, prints, and textures that she put together, but the silhouettes kept the looks from being dated or costumey. Andrea designed this gorgeous little gold-lamé number to wear for the event; I told her all she needed was a wind-machine and she’d be ready to hit the stage. So cute! I hate that I didn’t get to see all of the fashion segments (photographer duties called), but they had a nice turnout and the crowd loved the looks. Great job, Andrea!
