Stripes + Blues + Pink Lips Too | KP FUSION
A favorite pastime of mine is playing in new makeup (duh), so I was super happy when this bronzy look + bright pinky lip paired really well with my striped dress and new blue + tortoise eyeglasses from Firmoo. The pink was bright enough to pump up the dress (similar), but it didn’t compete with the blue hue in the glasses (you know you have to be careful with those two shades). These frames are bomb-I recently dyed my hair a few shades darker, and I love how subtly the blue pops against my skin. The tortoise print keeps them from blending into my hair. Right now new customers can save 15% off new frames sitewide by clicking here. New Arrivals can be found here (with more promos + top picks). Makeup Deets: I’m testing out a new concealer in this picture (LOVE so far, more info soon), and my bronzer is a HG product from M.A.C.: their Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Dark Deep. It was pricier than my last one from NYX, BUT I love how finely milled it is, and that it doesn’t have any shimmer. It’s not matte, but it can be used everywhere and warms up the entire face beautifully. I can skip blush if I want, which is a plus if I’m in a hurry. I also went back to my old favorite foundation last week, Revlon’s ColorStay. I finally found my color in stock again (Toast, for Oily/Combo Skin) and I don’t know if the formula has changed or what, but it’s been amazing the last few days in this 100 degree heat. I still have to use a primer, but I can do a full day without this budging or looking cakey. My skin just looks…polished. The lippie is a mix of 3 shades-I started off really dark with a matte lipstick from Absolute New York in Mauve, but then topped it with Ruby Kisses’ Matte Lip Lacquer in Mirage + NYX’s Simply Pink Lip Cream in XOXO. I use to be a lipstick purist (only one color at a time), but I’m starting to loosen up. What’s your favorite lipcolor right now? *This post is sponsored, but opinions are totally my own.
