Workday Fun// Memphis Blogger Meetup at BR

Last week I combined my two worlds (blogging + Banana) when we hosted our first Memphis Blogger Meetup at our Saddle Creek location. Unless you’ve been under a rock the last 5 years, you’ve noticed that blogging (particularly in fashion + lifestyle) has exploded, and their creator’s powerful influence is now being taken much more seriously than before. I’m always blabbing about blogging and new bloggers/trends that I’ve noticed, so when it came time for us as a whole to think about events we’d like to host on a localized level in our district, I suggested a blogger meetup.

Bloggers could mix and mingle to talk about all things fashion + life, while also playing dress up in fun new clothes!

Tara (Dilletante Collection) + Sophorn (Memphis Flyer/Style Session + No Rococo). Tara is a doll to play dress up with. She had pulled a few things to try on herself (like this fringed crepe top), but then I just started handing her stuff to see how it fit, lol.

Sophorn was looking for pieces for her Halloween costume (slightly modern Yoko Ono). She didn’t leave w/the flare denim, but the ruffle-front blouse made the cut).

We also coordinated a Nashville Blogger Meetup at our Cool Springs Galleria store during the same time and they had a nice turnout as well!

It was a fun night for both stores, so thank you to all of the bloggers that were able to come! We didn’t get a chance to snap pictures of everyone that came, but here’s a link to all of their blogs:

    1. thanks Betsy! We loved being able to bring together the blogger community in Memphis + Nashville, and are definitely planning to do more. Thank you so much for coming! 🙂

  1. It was such a fun time. My only regret was that I was only able to stay for an hour. Thanks so much for hosting. I would love to participate in (or host) some other meet ups in the future!

Thank you for reading-your comments are appreciated!
