A Peek at e.l.f.’s Influenster Beauty VoxBox

I’ve been using e.l.f. Cosmetics products for years, so I was pretty pleased to receive their BeautyVoxBox to review from Influenster. Included in the box where both skincare and makeup products, which is the best of both worlds for a product junkie.

In the box:

I already own a few of the matte lip colors (they’re really creamy, pigmented, and pretty long lasting. At $3 a pop you can “splurge” on a couple), and I’ve used the baked highlighter + bronzer and mineral infused primers as well (not too bad, but I’ve found my holy grails for those products so I won’t be switching them out). I was more excited to test out the hydrating bubble mask and lip exfoliator.   The lip exfoliator is awesome; cleaner to use, and the slight minty kick is a fun pick me up on the morning. With matte lipsticks being all of the rage right now, everyone needs to add one to their bag.

The hydrating bubble mask is the weirdest but coolest mask that I’ve ever used. It’s in gel form when you first apply, but quickly turns to  a foam as you’re spreading it around. After you let it sit for 10 minutes (your face will be completely covered in bubbles in the end), just rinse and pat dry and your skin is soft and hydrated. I sometimes layer masks when I’m doing a deep cleanse on my skin, so this would be a fun one to add to the mix when I need to put some moisture back in. My only wish was that the container was less messy. It’s made so that only a small amount comes out at a time, but you have to keep pressing it down and it’s a gel formula so if you’re not careful, you can get it everywhere and waste product.

Overall, I was pleased with this VoxBox. e.l.f has really stepped their game up over the last few years and are making some cool, quality products at a budget-friendly price.

Have you tried any of these e.l.f. products?
