#MemphisFashionWeek | Preview Party

The Preview Party for Memphis Fashion Week  never disappoints, especially when it comes to city style. One of my favorite things about this entire week of events is that it’s a chance for people’s personal style to really shine.

You don’t necessarily have to “hold” your special pieces here, but depending on your every day lifestyle, you cant always get dressed up or be a little more experimental with what you wear.  During MFW, it’s different. You can have on a feather skirt + heels and stand next to someone in Chuck’s and a basic tee and it’ll still make sense.

Loved Caitlin‘s makeup (she’s a makeup artist, so, duh. )

A little bubbly to set your mood. There was also a VIP Lounge but I was too busy talking and taking pictures to get anything.

I wasn’t able to get there names but they sound awesome. They performed acoustic covers of songs by Beiber, Taylor Swift, and even a few hip-hop joints. Super dope.
Memphis Magazine Fashion Editor Augusta Campbell (who I LOVE). She always wears the coolest jewelry by local brand Brave Design. Each piece is one of a kind.

A reunion of sorts. This is the crew that worked at Nicole Miller when there was a boutique here in the 90s. The squeals of happiness when they saw each other were hilarious.

Obsessed with her striped romper.

Next up is the Nicole Miller Luncheon + Featured Designer Shows!

Make sure you’re following me on IG + the #MemphisFashionWeek hashtag. I’ll be live posting at the events this week in addition to snapping for the blog. If you see me, stop by and say hi!
