I love finding new beauty products to try, especially for my brows. I recently received 4ever Magic’s Double Shade Seductive Eyebrow Gel, and with brows being one of my favorite focal areas, I couldn’t wait to test it out. It’s a smudge-free, long-lasting, water-resistant, and high-pigmented gel that’s designed to help you get the perfect brow with less product. The kit comes with the double shade gel + 2 sided application brush.
The darker shade is used to outline and define the brow, while the lighter shade is for filling in, but you can also mix the shades together so whether you want really naturally looking brows or brows that are more dramatic (like the still popular insta-brow), you have complete control.
I typically use pencils because I like the precision that you’re able to get with them when you’re outlining your brows, however, this angled brush tip is thin and stiff, so you’re able to get a really smooth line. I’ve tried a lot of different brow brushes out and this is the make or break thing for the applicator-if it’s too wide or not stiff enough, the product will smear and your application will look messy (which defeats the purpose). The spoolie brush really gets in between the brow hairs as well, so you can brush the gel through for the look that you want.
Because it’s a gel, a little goes a looong way, so it’s best to have a light hand during application and build up as you go. It does dry quickly, however, so make sure that you apply it when you’re focused on grooming your brow. I like a full but softly groomed brow, and I was able to achieve that easily with this set.
There are 4 different duo shades to choose from (I’m wearing Magic Dazzle Brown) and retails for $35 ($1 from each transaction is donated to charity). IMO it’s a great price because of how little product you have to use; usually I use a pencil, maybe a little bit of powder and a gel and this cuts down on that (and application time) significantly. Plus it’s almost sweat-proof, which is what you need when you’re dealing with Southern heat + humidity.
