I test out both drugstore and higher end products, but there are certain products that I find myself constantly going back to. At this point, I’m giving up the ghost and sticking to what I know WORKS, and wanted to share those with you guys.
I have my tried and true go to beauty looks, but I love when Summer rolls around because you can inject a little more color into your every day routine to make it a bit more playful. I received products from Clarin’s new Sunkissed Summer Collection and it was just the color boost my makeup bag needed.
I received some products from L’BRI Pure N’ Natural, a natural based skincare + product line to test out (and hopefully find a few products to mix into my routine).
Clarins recently released a new 4-Colour Eyeshadow Palette, SOS Primer, and Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector in gorgeous shades that fall in line with Pantone’s 2018 color of the year, and it’s a fun collection to add to your makeup bag as we transition into Spring.
When it comes to me trying Glossier products, I’ve yet to be disappointed. I’ve loved some products more than others, but overall, it’s a brand that I enjoy using and I look forward to their new product drops. I received their Solution (Exfoliating Skin Perfector) + Invisible Shield Daily Suncreen SPF to test out and not surprisingly, I’m a fan.
Two beauty products that I keep in my makeup bag year round is highlighter and a bright, bold lip-color. We typically swap out certain products when the temps begin to cool, but I’ve never been one to follow strict beauty rules.
I have oily/combination skin, so using a setting pwoder with my makeup is a must. For the past 2 months I’ve been using the L.A. Girl PRO High-Definition Setting Powder and it may be my holy grail.
I love a foundation that gives you a flawless finish while still allowing skin to show through. Earlier this Summer, COVERGIRL® launched their Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation and I love it.
Some people are born with perfect skin, but most of us have to have a little help from our (color correcting) friends. Hard Candy recently released a new collection of color correcting concealers, powders, primers, and expert sticks.
I’ve been a fan of liquid lipsticks since they first launched, but paying $15-$23 a pop when you’re a fickle makeup junkie? Um, no.
