Meet Wendy Marie, the super cute writer behind WendyEats.com, a food blog highlighting the good eats of Memphis and more. A girl about town, Wendy is the go-to gal for all of hot spots to hit when visiting the city. A budding fashionista herself, Wendy is also known to rock killer heels and chic looks, showcasing her classic, yet fashion forward style. What was the inspiration behind Wendy Eats?
A love of Memphis, a love of good food, and the desire for others, especially Memphians, to see the best of our city!

What's the number one takeaway you want people to have when they read Wendy Eats?
For people to be excited about the city’s locally owned restaurants!

In your eyes, how much are food and fashion intertwined?
Food and fashion are extremely close. If I were good with analogies this would be where I’d say something extremely clever and witty that would make you go ahhh yes food and fashion. But since I’m not, I’ll just say food and fashion are both about way more than simply function. They’re about love, expression, and creativity. Your preference in either can tell you a lot about yourself.

When you aren't working on your blog, what do you do for fun?
Work on my blog! LOL Run, Read, or Travel.

Who are some of your favorite professional foodies?
I love Rachael Ray, Giada de Laurentiis, and Alejandra Ramos.

Favorite snacks:
Ohhh there are so many. I definitely have the snack gene so in order to stop myself I really don’t keep snacks at home. The only thing I allow myself to keep at home is grapes. But my favorite snack is chips and dip.

Top 3 favorite restaurants in Memphis:
I have so many favorites depending on what I’m in the mood for so there’s no way to name just 3. (read her blog to get ideas!)

Fun dinner date idea:
A fun dinner date is any date that includes a little thought, effort, and element of surprise. A private dinner watching the sunset atop a rooftop of one of the buildings downtown or underneath the stars while in the park. Either one would definitely be my idea of fun!

Sex and the City and The Devil Wears Prada.

How would you describe your personal style?

50 First Dates: What To Wear

March is just around the corner, signaling the beginning of two much anticipated seasons: Spring, and *drumroll* dating season!

For those not in the know, the two weeks prior to Thanksgiving until Valentine's day are almost a no fly zone for singles. Video | Cassie | King of Hearts

On Valentine's Day, Cassie released the video for her new single "King of Hearts". The single is off her untitled sophmore album, which is slated to finally drop later this year. Directed by Chris Sims, the video takes place in a huge mansion; the setting is dark and moody, and showcases Cassie's edgy style, gorgeous face, and a few dance moves.

There is no denying her beauty and that the camera/film loves her. I'm loving the printed blouse she wears throughout the video (vintage Versace?), and as usual, she rocks a flawless face (seriously, who is her makeup artist??).

When Cassie first came on the scene, she was 100% R&B, but this track is much more electro-pop and IMO, fits her soft, smooth vocals perfectly. She not so much sings but coos over a hard dance beat that would knock in a Miami nightclub. I like the direction (I mean, people want to MOVE when they go out dancing), so I hope the single does well. I still have "Official Girl" and "Must Be Love" in rotation, so I was glad to get some new music.

Month/Year Blog Launched: My first post was published in February 2011. This was a core element of a college assignment but my first intentional blog post was online in May 2011.

How did you get into blogging?
I am an elementary / primary school teacher by trade. As part of our tuition to prepare us for the classroom, one of our assignments was to create a blog on the topic of our choice. I have always had huge interests in all things fashion and popular culture, thus, the subject choice was effortless.

What has been the best thing about it? Hardest?
The best thing about creating 'Film, Fashion & Popular Culture' is the constant inspiration it provides me with. Each time I am motivated to write an article/post, I undergo research about the model/brand/magazine the piece is about. This always earns me a nugget of information, which was previously unknown to me.

The hardest thing is deciding between the material I wish to report on. Since the beginning I made a commitment to only write features on items that truly fascinated or inspired me, thus, giving the reader an insight into my personal interests and icons. Often, it is difficult to not write a post merely for the sake of updating my blog, but so far I have managed to stay true to myself and post only about the news items which interest me most.

What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog?
When I am not working on my blog, I can be found in a variety of environments. In the classroom you will find me attempting to inspire and instill a love for learning in the minds of some of Dublin's most interesting children. On the streets of Dublin you could find me perusing and admiring the individual style of many of Dublin's most creative and often eccentric inhabitants (This is one of my favorite hobbies!)

Finally, you could also find me preparing for my weekly radio show with Inside Education - researching guests and learning the ropes within the broadcasting domain!

Dream Job?
My biggest aspiration would be to work on a fashion television programme (in either a production or broadcasting role) that gives the cast an opportunity to view and analyze the fashions which parade down the globe's catwalks and streets. It would be an added bonus if this position offered me the opportunity to meet and interview designers and those responsible for fashion's influence i.e. editors, stylists etc. (one can dream!)

Describe your look in five words.
Classic, feminine, retro-inspired, timeless, tailored/fit!

Who/what influences your style?
My style is significantly influenced by the trends of the past; I have a particular love for the history of fashion and style. Although it's not always wearable, La Belle Époque remains one of my favorite fashionable decades. Other influences are derived from people/street watching - examining how other individuals pair pieces and accessorize their favorite ensembles.

I also love browsing through the aisles of Dublin's high street and designer stores, examining how the shop's mannequins have been styled - this often prompts ideas and reminds me of clothes and accessories I have stored away.

In relation to style icons, my eyes widen with interest when I hear of Nicole Richie, Olivia Palermo, Keira Knightley, Victoria Beckham and Felicity Jones latest style escapades. None of these women are afraid to challenge the fashionable boundaries and continue to empress me with their appreciation for fashion and promotion of confidence and femininity.

Who are some of your favourite designers?
My favourite designers would have to be Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Sinéad Doyle, Stephanie Grace Foy, Balmain, Prada, Alexander Wang, Mary Katrantzou, Emilio Pucci, Simone Rocha, Umit Kutluk, Mulberry, Jason Wu, Zac Posen and The Row.

What’s one item in your wardrobe that you can’t live without?
It would be impossible to live without my collection of scarves. I have a particular fondness for silk scarves; I love to style them with a casual outfit, perhaps a simple sting top, a blazer and jeans. They add glamour and luxury to every ensemble.

In Winter, I transition to cashmere, pashmina, or chiffon materials to add further warmth. For me, the designing leaders in this field are Alexander McQueen and Hermès but I equally adore traipsing through the aisles of my local high street store to find something quirky and totally me!

What’s a classic item that every woman should own?
Every woman should own a scent that makes her feel confident, beautiful, and alluring!

Fashion on Film: Which movies inspire you?
My choices are quite predictable but who can forget Hepburn's Givenchy little black dress in 'Breakfast at Tiffany's, and the montage of Anne Hathaway's stylish choices in 'The Devil Wears Prada' always leaves me green with envy! I'm a huge fan of period dramas and films such as 'Marie Antoinette', 'Pride & Prejudice', 'The Duchess' and 'The Young Victoria' contain some of the wardrobes I envy most.

Words of (style) wisdom:
Sometimes what we love most on the catwalk or on the high street is not always the best fit for our body shape. When choosing an outfit, pick pieces that compliment and flatter your natural shape; it will make you feel more confident!

Hmmm, that's a difficult question - I might just have to cheat a little bit. My absolute favorite treat would have to be Ben & Jerry's 'Cookie Dough' ice cream. It's so decadent and I am ashamed to say that I have tried to finish off a tub of it once or twice!

2012 Grammy Award Red Carpet Recap

Last night at the 2012 Grammy Awards, fashion floated between being good (not great) and...interesting. Considered to be music's most important night, the Grammy red carpet is a place where artists, actors, etc. can have a little more fun with their style; it's less formal than the Oscars but more fashion forward than a movie premiere. There are certain artists that you expect to venture into the more shall we say artistic side of things, but for the most part, there will be a few standouts on the red carpet.

Unfortunately, I feel that we have entered into a weird time in fashion were celebs are either playing it too safe, or they're going for shock value - they want to be talked about, regardless of if it's good or bad. I look forward to the great, fully executed red carpet moments. Yes, there are some good ones, but something has been off with the hair, makeup, color, accessories, etc. on many occassions, so very few have been memorial the last few seasons.

Some could argue that style is subjective, or that it's a reflection of choices-or lack thereof-of what stylists have to choose from when doing pulls but I'm not sure it's that. All I know is that I was not wowed last night.

Well, not fully wowed. Rihanna wore my favorite dress of the night.

The custom made Giorgio Armani gown was walking sex (it showed off her killer body and reminded me a bit of the dress that J.Lo wore years ago), but her hair threw things off for me. Alone, it's very Goldie-Hawn-in-Overboard chic, but with the dress, it took away from it, IMO. If there was a bit more polish, she would have nailed it.

Other good looks: Carrie Underwood, Adele, Alicia Keys, Kelly O., and Taylor Swift.

Both Carrie and Adele chose classic looks, which always work. Alicia's short number was classic as well but I really loved the structured shoulder and her accessories. Kelly O.'s gown was beautiful, but I kinda wish it was short to show off her shape more, and I have a love/hate relationship with her hair so last night it made me go "nice" instead of "wow".

Taylor's long ornate gown is gorgeous, but with the pulled back hair and high neckline, it aged her. Don't get me wrong, she looked pretty, but she's only 22 or 23, so I wish she would have gone with something more fun and age appropriate. This could have possibly worked better if the hemline had been shortened.

Here are more looks from the red carpet. There were some WTF moments of the night (Nicki, Gaga, and Sasha Gradiva to name a few) but I'm over the gimmicks so I'll leave those looks to other sites to discuss!

Fashion Life | Assisting A Stylist (Behind The Scenes)

Last Thursday I had the pleasure of assisting Andrea Fenise, stylist and owner of Style Junkie Boutique, on a style segment (Super Bowl party looks) that she had booked for Fox 13. I've worked with Andrea before (I was one of the MUAs for her first Style Junkie commercial), but this was my first time assisting in this capacity.

Many times people only think about the finished product when looking at television segments, editorials, etc. but SO much work goes into it. For a brief 4-7 minute segment, prep starts waaay before you start shooting. Here's a day in the life:

7:00 am Call time*
Andrea had completed all of her pulls a few days before, so there was no running around looking for final pieces to choose from. Some of the models (Elan Creative Services), an MUA (Meosha Will), and I met at Andrea's studio. Andrea went over the looks with me, and we finalized accessory choices for each girl, and I picked Meosha's brain about her product choices, and got a few extra tips as well. Two of the models had their makeup done by Meosha while the other two were done by Stephanie Ellis (ECS); they joined us later.

The segment was scheduled between 9:30 am - 9:40 am so this gave us enough time to do wardrobe, hair, and makeup. She used 7 models total (4 girls, 3 guys) but the guys were lucky - they were scheduled to meet us at the news station.

PRE-PREP. IS. EVERYTHING. Don't wait until the last minute to do your pulls. Make sure you have the model(s) full measurements before you go out (steamed and tagged the night before the shoot), and know what looks you want them to have with hair/beauty. This saves you a LOT of time the day of, and helps things go smoothly.

*While our call time was 7:00 a.m., Andrea's day began much earlier than that.

8: 30 am Countdown
We needed to leave by 9:00 am, so the last 30 minutes were spent finishing hair, putting on accessories, double checking the styling kit to make sure we had everything we needed for the road, and loading everything up.

9:15 am Arrival
Once we arrived at the studio, the male models got dressed, Andrea went over her notes, and final changes to hair and makeup were made.

9:40 am We're live!
During this time, I waited in the wings with the model agency owners, filming and taking photos to document her hard work.

9:50 am That's a wrap!
Models changed back into their street clothes, and we backed everything up to take back to her studio. Once there, we "restyled" the looks to ensure that we had each piece, double checked her receipts, and repacked things to be returned. I snapped a quick pic of Andrea, the owner of Sugar Plum Consignments, and Lauren, one of the anchors before we left.

12:00 pm
After a few returns, hunger pains hit so we grabbed a quick lunch and parted ways for the day.

This was such a fun learning experience for me, so thank you for the opportunity Andrea!

Vogue Eyewear 70s Inspired Sunnies

I love the sophistication that comes to mind when you think about the 70s aesthetic, so anytime I see something that reminds me of that glam era in fashion, my heart skips a lil bit.

My current inspiration: Bianca Jagger.

We're not even going to discuss the classic stripes or lush dark locks topped with a cute beret in this post- my focus are her sunglasses. I love huge sunnies; something about them has always screamed chic to me, so I'm always on the hunt for the perfect pair.

Beauty Buy | Benefit BADgal Lash Mascara

If you're looking for a mascara that will give you lush, almost doll like lashes, you may want to try Benefit BADgal Lash Mascara, $19 (Sephora).*

I've tested out this mascara for the past week and outside of a little bit of smudging at the end of the day, this formula, coupled with an oversized brush (so that you can get everything), gave me the definition I desired in two coats, and without liner. Some days I only want to wear a strong lip (or be #allglowyeverything and bronze it up Jlo style), so I need a mascara that will make my small peepers look like teacups. This did the job!

Gap Launches Gap Pure

Being a fan of slouchy tees (great for layering!), I'm eager to try Gap Pure, Gap's new collection of lightweight tees (made with a hint of cashmere, pima cotton, and jersey) which launches today. The Gap has always been one of my go-tos for my staples (my tee and tank collection is comprised mostly of their supersoft, well made-tops), so the collection is sure to have one that I love.

Channeling Your Inner Mr. T. with AT-SLOPES

I'm a true 80s baby (holla!) so anytime I see something that reminds of my youth, I get a little nostalgic for my formative years (I had the best childhood ever!) and take a quick trip down memory lane.

Mens | Caught Up: OBEY Rapture Jacket

When it comes to outerwear for men, there are two distinct styles that I like for them: slightly polished in a military peacoat, or more downtown cool in a leather jacket. Both are popular in the street style world (look on any blog right now and you're sure to see tons of guys layering with them) because frankly, they just look GOOD.

This Obey Rapture Jacket ($130) is right up my (guy's) alley.

It's 100% PU leather and has a fleece hoodie lining, so the look is sleek but not too much. It comes in brown and tan as well, but I like it in black best. You can keep it James Dean with a white tee and dark denim, layer it with stripes (as seen above) or get a little experimental with colored denim and/or prints.

Beauty Buy | Maybelline Baby Lips

For everyday lip treatments, I'm a gloss kind of girl. I've played around with lipstick the last few months, but I always keep gloss in my bag because when you're on the go as much as I am, it's easier to reapply without a mirror. I've never been into lip balms, though. Don't get me wrong, I tried - I have a drawer full of Burt's Bee's, Chapstick, Wet & Wild, Shimmer, etc. to prove it - but I either lose the tube, or the "slight tint" that it's suppose to leave looks like I've had one too many popsicles. No bueno!

Well last week, things changed.

During my usual jaunt to Target, I decided to grab Maybelline's Baby Lips to see what all of the hype was about.

The packaging reminded me of the Lip Smackers balm that I used to get as a kid, just not as big. Touted as having firming and 24-hour moisture lock capabilities with an SPF of 20, I figured that if I could keep actually keep up with the tube, at the very least I could layer it under my lipstick to keep my pucker kissable.

The Verdict
Can I just say that I LOVE these?! I selected the Cherry Me Baby Flavor and in addition to my lips feeling ah-mazing when I applied it, it has a slight hint of color that's perfection- it enhances you natural lipcolor without it being too bright. It's great for everyday AND those days when you wear a heavier eye but you don't want your lips to compete. Since I purchased it, it's been the only thing I've worn. I'll definitely be getting the rest.

Shopping Tip: While it's relatively inexpensive anyway, if you're really on a budget and every penny counts, purchase it from Target. It retails there for $2.99 (everywhere else is $3.99).

My Fashion Swap Party Finds

This past Friday I went to a fashion swap party to kick off the celebration of my friend Jenice's birthday. If you've never been to one, a fashion swap party is where you and a group of friends (preferably 5 or more) each bring anywhere from 3 - 10 pieces from your closet that are still fashionable and in good condition, but you don't have much use for anymore. You each pull a number and take turns "shopping" the merchandise (1 -3 pieces at a time) until everyone is satisfied. We enjoyed lemon drop martinis, cupcakes and more and because everyone that came had different tastes,we all were able to find a few things that we could make new.

For myself, I'm building my wardrobe for my studio (for future portfolio shoots), so I looked for pieces that were trendy yet classic, so that , depending on the shoot's setting, they could be remixed with anything. I found a great pair of bright orange shorts (summer time!), colored bangles, a pair of patent pointed toe purple stilettos from Aldo, and a pair of zebra and cobalt blue peeptoes from Guess.

Also on the scene was Style Junkie's owner Andrea Fenise. She brought in jewelry and a few other accessories to sell and I copped a sweet snake head bracelet (very Rachel Zoe!) and a huge drape/chain army tag necklace.

Jenice also gave us these super cute totes to keep our new treasures in (totally going to be my spring/summer errand bag).

All in all, I had a great time and I can't wait to rock my new finds!

Fashion Law 101 | Fashion Design and Copyright Law

New York Fashion Week 2012 is only a few days away! While the public waits six months or more to see new designs at fashion week, copies from the runway are usually in retail stores before the fashion designer can take a bow! So, how does this happen?

Usually, original works of authorship would fall under copyright law. Fashion design is not a text, but it is the result of a person’s creativity and ingenuity that has been transformed from an idea to a tangible garment. Yet, the law states that clothes are necessary to ensure human modesty in public. Therefore, clothes are classified as a “useful article” and generally not protected under copyright law.

An exception exists “only if…such design incorporates pictorial, graphic, or sculptural features that can be identified separately from…the utilitarian aspects of the article.” For example, if a belt buckle was shaped like a skeleton key then the buckle must be identifiable as separate from the belt itself. So, consumers are not buying just another belt--but a belt that has a specific and identifiable feature--the belt buckle. Because of that critical distinction, the belt buckle’s design could possibly receive copyright protection.

Going for the Bold | 2012 SAG Awards

While many stars chose to wear the traditional black and blush/cream palette as they strolled the red carpet for the 2012 SAG Awards last night, a select few opted to make bolder statements with their brightly colored gowns. While not the most exciting night of red carpet fashion (I do miss the days when Halle, SJP, Nicole Kidman, Cameron, and JLo ruled), I was happy to see more color. It's never fun to see a sea of the same old thing-it's a little too safe IMO.

Paula Patton kicked things off a few weeks ago at the Golden Globes in her beautiful canary yellow Monique Lhuillier gown (see it in my top picks post here); these ladies followed suit with their bold hues. A few gowns were hit or miss (Julie Bowen, I'm looking at you) but the fact that they chose to standout from the crowd gives them a pass.

I just came across UK pop princess Jessie J's latest video "Domino", and in it she rocks a few uber cute looks that would be perfect for a night out on the town. Menswear | Acne Fall 2012 Collection

Menswear designers have a fine line to walk when designing. While each season they want to offer a colelction that is innovative and stylish, they also have to offer pieces that are practical. Yes, there are some men who take trends head-on and will try anything (not a Scotsmen but still want to rock a kilt? Why not?), but for the most part, men want clothing that fits their lifestyle. Banker, music executive, artist; doesn't matter, they just want clothing that looks good.

When I saw the first few looks of Acne's 2012 Fall Collection, I was a little underwhelmed; All black, short/tapered pants, jackets, etc. Practical pieces yes, but nothing that stood out. Ooh but when I got to the second part of the collection, THAT'S when I got excited. Color, patterns, and texture; FINALLY you could see elements of the rebel spirit that Acne is known for. Still a little unconventional (leatherette pants? Okay), the collection mixed in faux and high end materials while playing with colors and proportions. Johansson designed a collection with optimistic pieces that will surely be key in the Fall (hint: it will be ALL about the blazer).

One of the things that I've learned over the years is to deconstruct runway looks; see the story that they are telling as a whole, but try to view each piece individually so that you can understand the part that it plays. Together the looks may seem a bit odd, but when broken down, the list of must haves will go on an on.

Beauty Buy | Maybelline's Eyestudio Master Shape Brow Pencil

Last week during my weekly jaunt to Ulta (I'm seriously becoming obsessed with this place. My heart will forever be with Target but Ulta offers colors and products that I can't always find), I stumbled upon Maybelline's Eyestudio Master Shape Brow Pencil right before I headed to the checkout.

As I mentioned here, I'm forever working on obtaining perfect brows, so I'm always looking for products that fill and darken where needed without smudging as the day goes on or making me look like a stand-in for Oscar the Grouch.

Sorry Oscar, but the brows are all wrong.

Made with a natural wax formula and subtle color pigment, I was able to achieve the look I wanted without my brows looking too heavy. Offered in 4 shades (blonde, soft brown, deep brown, and auburn), I went with the deep brown; a dark haired brunette, I like my brows defined but not too heavy, especially on days when all I want to wear is mascara and a bold lip. Be sure to keep the tip sharp so that application remains light; if it becomes too rounded, as with any pencil, you may apply too much.

It comes with a refined groomer on the other end so brush brows in place before you "set" with the pencil. I knew that I'd chosen a good product when I asked my best friend if she noticed a difference in my brows and she said she did, but she couldn't quite place what the difference was (BUT, they looked good).

Best thing about it? It's only $7.99! As someone who likes beauty on a budget, this was right up my alley.

Fashion Law 101 With Attorney Pamela Kelly

Working in fashion means more than just knowing about the latest trends and new designers, styling clients, and where to shop. While knowing all of that is essential, more than anything else, you need to know that fashion is a BUSINESS. Yes, the glitz and glamour of it all is what most people see (and want), but if you're an emerging designer, photographer, boutique, etc., it's also imperative that you understand the way that things work so that you can properly function as a company, protect yourself, and prosper at what you do (while still enjoying the glitz and glamour, of course).

Fashion & entertainment lawyer Pamela Kelly will be providing general insight on various sectors within the industry ("Fashion Law 101" if you will) on KP Fusion in the upcoming weeks. The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law graduate brings many years of expertise to the table. Currently the entertainment attorney for WHBQ - TV Fox 13's "Ask the Attorney" segment, Attorney Kelly is also a contributor to other local publications as well. To start things off, read on to learn more about her background, fashion law in general, and a few things that brands should know when launching a startup.

For those not familiar with fashion law, what areas/needs are covered under these specialties?
Fashion law includes principles from a variety of legal disciplines. The most prevalent types of law that arise in the fashion industry are protection of intellectual property such as trademarks, commercial operations, business law including business formation and structure, contracts, employment law, real estate law and licensing.

How did you decide to practice in this field?
My areas of practice include entertainment law, and fashion law is really just the other side of the same coin. Just think...there is music on the runway...private labels or businesses for independent musicians and fashion designers. In some cases, creatives such as fashion designers, fashion stylists, musicians or makeup artists may have to protect their brands through trademark or copyright law. Creative types also have to protect their businesses against rights of publicity or social media defamation claims from persons hired as background vocalists, models or photographers. So, again the close parallel between the two fields is what motivated me to really explore fashion law.

I also noticed that Memphis has an underground fashion community that is becoming more visual, more vocal and more interested in making Memphis a fashion hub. I am excited about that prospect, and I want to be a integral part of this fashion movement. Since I love clothes and the law, I am getting the best of both worlds.

What's one thing that designers/brands need to know when they're setting up their business?
It is important to understand the legal requirements of a business and the tax implications for the type of business structure chosen. For example, some people only look at the cost of establishing a business and use online forms to help establish a LLC and avoid attorney fees. But there are registration requirements for the state of Tennessee that may make the low cost of establishing a LLC online more expensive when the business wants recognition in Tennessee.

It is also important for the fashion designer to adopt a competent core team to help manage the business. Even with a dynamic team in place, the fashion designer should remain active in the financial health and growth of the business.

Looking back at 2011, what was the most interesting case involving fashion/trademark law to you? Why?
The most interesting case in 2011 was Christian Louboutin SA v. Yves Saint Laurent America Inc. This case has not been decided yet, but it is being followed closely by fashion and intellectual property attorneys. Louboutin's red-soled shoe was granted a trademark by the United States Trademark and Patent Office, but Yves Saint Laurent is challenging that trademark since it has its own line of red-soled flats.

The core issue in this case is the protection of a color. If the Louboutin trademark is cancelled, other businesses that have protected a color under trademark law may face a legal challenge from competitors as well. So, other businesses that rely on color to identify their goods such as the infamous Tiffany blue box are filing briefs in support of Louboutin. So, the final decision in the Louboutin case could have wide range implications in the fashion industry.

What are some books you would suggest for those interested in learning more about the field?
Since fashion law has only gained momentum in the last 5 years, there are not many published works available. But I suggest "Fashion Law: A Guide for Designers, Fashion Executives and Attorneys" for good foundational knowledge. I also encourage fashion designers to read varied fashion blogs, industry magazines and use social media to keep abreast of what is going on in the industry. Floral patterns in clothing are hard to pull off sometimes but testing out trends via your shoes and accessories is the easiest way to keep your wardrobe updated and current. We all have a closet full of the basics (black, taupe, and at least one bright color are staples), but dabbling in prints in the Spring can keep your shoe game a little more interesting.

How To Style Floral Shoes

The key to pulling off a floral pattern is balance. I wouldn't recommend mixing floral on floral - it's something only very few can pull off (but if you MUST mix prints, I suggest a black and white striped top. Stripes and florals have always worked well together). Select a color within the shoe to build the look upon. An every day look is denim, a neutral blouse, and a bright blue blazer, like the one below.

For a night out, instead of doing black dress (to tie into the black straps and heel), try a short magenta dress.

If you look closely at the pattern on the heel of the shoe, it gives the illusion of pleating, similar to the pleating on the dress. Top with jewelry and a blazer or cardigan if needed and you're good to go!

Awards season is in full swing so for a fashion and beauty junkie like me, I eat up the red carpet moments. With all of the books, glossies, and DVDs (hello Rachel Zoe) that I've read over the years, I know that a LOT goes into selecting a red carpet look. It's not just about a pretty dress: it takes weeks of preparation (skin, nails, hair, diet prep, going over dress options with your stylist/team, fittings, picking shoes, jewelry, and makeup to complete the look, etc.).

For image conscious celebrities, wearing a look that lands on Best Dressed Lists is a major coup; a great moment today could lead to a campaign/endorsement later down the road. These nights are meant for stars to break out the big guns!

My Top 3 at the 2012 Golden Globes: Paula Patton, Jessica Alba, and Charlize Theron.

This color pops brilliantly against Patton's skin.

Alba is positively radiant n lilac after baby.

Theron's blush Dior is sexy and a little different from the rest.

British popstar Natalia Kills' video for her infectious pop song "Kill My Boyfriend" is like a new wave ode to 60s Stepford Wives and Parisian chic. The song is super twisted (she's gonna kill her boyfriend so that she can run away with the ex she's still in love with) but the imagery is so haute (the chiffon ruffled halter dress and the polka dot sheer knit Stella McCartney dress are only 2 of the standout looks that she sports) that fashion lovers can't help but hope she gets away with it so we can see what she wears next.

Directed by Guillaume ‘G’ Doubet (her long-time collaborator), Natalia's creative video is retro cheekiness at its finest.

The hair, makeup, nails...sigh...this is like an editorial come to life! I need to find out more about her styling team asap!

Menswear | Burberry Prorsum Fall 2012 Collection

Milan Fashion Week is here and my love for menswear has immensely grown after seeing the 2012 Burberry Prorsum Fall 2012 Collection. Like any hot blooded woman, I love a man in a suit - a man in a well-fitting one is all yummy everything to me- so Christopher Bailey did not disappoint with his slim cut, pipe-leg trouser offering. The leaner silhouette has become so mainstream now that it no longer warrants a separate discussion. Depending on where you shop, you'd be hardpressed to find the looser cuts of yesteryear because the look is so dominant now.

His show was call The Gentleman, so the designs (visually) took me back to the 50s and 60s, when the look that's most commonly referred to as "workwear" now was normal day-to-day wear (and if you recall, trousers were slim then as well). Bailey's designs were anything but uniform but in addition to my love of his tweed suit and moss green velvet suit, it was more about the outerwear and detailing for me.

Floppy scoopneck sweaters. Polka dot ties and shirt with classic suiting. Leather studded gloves. Double-breasted military peacoats. Suede collar and pocket flaps on a belted classic trench. The tertiary color accents. THOSE elements stood out to me the most. While some of the styling was a little questionable (there's no way a guy would wear a borderline cropped puffer jacket over a suit-it doesn't look good OR comfortable), overall I was in love.

Although we are still in the midst of Winter, the last few weeks I've been thinking about new color combinations that I want to try in the Spring. While color blocking will still be a hot trend, I didn't want to go that "extreme"; I wanted to blend textures and color a little more seamlessly, as if I was choosing swatches of paint for my home.

A fan of these colors separately, I love the way that ginger, mustard, and gray look together, so I decided to create a work-appropriate outfit with gray being the neutral piece (everyone has a pair of gray trousers in their closet) and completing with light gold jewelry and snakeskin shoes.

Style Star | Ginnifer Goodwin | 2012 People's Choice Award

Actress (and Memphis, TN native) Ginnifer Goodwin brightened the red carpet at last night's People's Choice Awards in a hot pink Roksandra Ilincic dress with bell sleeves, Jimmy Choo booties, a Kzeniya clutch and Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry.

I love how the dress is fitted but not too tight, with a high neckline and longer length skirt. It's sexy in an understated way, and the sleeves add something extra. The hair gives it a slightly retro vibe (I personally would have worn it a little softer but it DOES work) and her makeup, per usual, is soft and flawless.

Gennifer always chooses dresses that either have architectural elements, or very intricate details. I'm not sure if she works with a stylist or not, but ever since she chopped off her hair into that pixie cut a few years back, she has been bringing her A-game. She's not regularly splashed all over the magazines -which I hate because the girl has great style- but she's definitely a media darling in my book.

Roksandra Illincic (who hails from the UK), is an emerging designer who's designs have also been worn by Michelle Obama, Carey Mulligan, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Kate Middleton. The look that Gennifer wears is from the Spring 2012 Collection.

I'm definitely a new fan.

Photos | HFR Memphis Fashion Art Exhibition Recap

Harlem's Fashion Row founder and CEO Brandice Henderson brought a little history, a dash of art and a WHOLE lot style to her hometown when she held the HFR Memphis Fashion Art Exhibition this past Saturday at 409 S. Main Street. A Memphis native, what was suppose to be relaxing visit at home turned into one of the most buzzed about events that the city has seen.

I had the pleasure of working on the PR team for the event and with most of my work being done on my computer (you don't even want to know how many emails and phone calls I made), the night of the show I experienced everything for the first time just like everyone else. The HFR Memphis team did NOT disappoint. 409 is a huge space, but they made use of all the rooms; the history of HFR and how it began was placed throughout on the walls, there were live models who wore canvases that you could paint on, a fashon show presentation that looped periodically throughout the evening, and 2 live fashion exhibits. The venue was PACKED.

Jason Wu for Target Capsule Collection

All of the images of the Jason Wu for Target Capsule Collection have finally been released and I have to say, there are a few pieces that I want to add to my closet when it debuts in February. Inspired by an American girl in Paris, the collection consists of ladylike pieces in a summery palette-white, baby blue, marigold, blush- with bold pops of red and blue mixed in; think 50s style dresses and pleated skirts, light-weight cardigans, floral print blouses, and a few nautical designs thrown in.

I watched Monte Carlo the other night (DON'T judge me - I was on a nanny job so it was justified!!!) and the look of Leighton Meester's character when they were in Paris came to mind when I saw this. Shorts, capris, blazers, a striped shirt and a short dress (all with flats) made up her wardrobe, so I definitely get the Parisian vibefrom the collection.

I love a small floral print (flattering on just about everyone), the baby blue cardigan needs to be mine (I own about 15 cardigans and counting. Weird obsession...), and I wouldn't mind testing out the black pleated skirt. The blush colored blouse with bib would look fabulous with a pair of camel colored high-waisted trousers!

The line starts at $19.99 so I hope I find some pieces before it's all gone!

Who's That Girl | Sky Ferreira channels Madonna For V Magazine

Shot by Mario Testino for issue # 75 of V Magazine, singer/model Sky Ferreira pays homage to Madonna, the original Material Girl, in this editorial. Comprised of looks from Madonna's Like A Prayer/True Blue/Who's That Girl era, Ferreira is styled in it-girl designers including Proenza Schouler, Mulberry, Channel, and more.

Some of the photos (all are not shown) are direct replicas of images/poses from Madonna's early years while others are a composite of her distinctive look during that time. It's very telling that 20+ years later, Madonna's influence on fashion in the 80s and 90s still captures us, especially considering how much people are into vintage looks at the moment.

Madonna is that chick to me, so collectively, I give the overall shoot a B-. Some of the shots are dead on, while others look great but lack energy. The Like a Virgin image (not shown), while perfect in costuming, missed the mark; Ferreira looks stoned and like she's straining to sit up. Madonna's photos from the original shoot are flawless, so I feel it was a waste. She does resemble Madonna quite a bit so she was a good choice. I just wish they didn't do so many of the "you caught me in the middle of talking" looks. While it's a standard go-to facial expression, it becomes redundant after a while.

One of the cool perks of being a blogger is that on occasion, you get to *sample products from various companies that partner with blogger networks. Such is the case with Hydroxatone, a high performance, anti-aging skincare brand. Launched nationwide in Ulta in 2010, Hydroxatone utilizes advanced beauty research technology and is clinically proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and increase hydration. While I do not suffer from fine lines or wrinkles (yet), now that I'm officially in my 30s it's more about preventive care than anything else.

When I reached out to the company, I recieved the following the products for review: AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex (their top seller) (retails $79.95), Revitalizing Microdermabrasion (retails $39.99), and the Sunsoak Anti-Ageing Self Tanner (retails $79.95).

Hydroxatone AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex (1oz.)
What it does: targets signs of aging (fine lines, wrinkles, crows feet, uneven skintone, etc.)
Key Ingredients: Matrixyl3000 (promotes natural levels of Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid, and Fibronectin), Argireline (anti-aging peptide), and Hyaluronic Acid (hydrates, increases smoothness, softness, and decreased appearance of wrinkles). It also contains SPF 15 and is paraben free.

My Thoughts:
For 30 days, I applied this moisturizer twice a day after using a cleanser and toner. Let me tell you, this is one of the most luxurious moisturizers I've ever used. I have combination skin and if I'm using any type of acne treatment, my skin will peel a little from time to time. This totally replenished any moister that I lost, and left me with silky, hydrated skin. A little goes a long way as well. I used a pea size amount each time-too much and you risk looking like a grease monkey lol. While 1 oz may not seem like a lot, I've had it over 6 weeks now and haven't even used half.

Hydroxatone Revitalizing Microderabrasion (1.7oz)
What it does: Exfoliates, helps to minimize pores, brighten skin
Key Ingredients: Magnesium Oxide (polishes skin), Sesame Seed Oil (smoothes the appearance of fine lines. Antioxidants (improves skin texture, softness, and suppleness) Botanical Extracts (skin brightener).

My Thoughts:
This was my favorite product out of the lot. I am a huge proponent of exfoliation (you should exfoliate 2 -3 times a week to remove old skin) so I couldn't wait to test run this. I've tried a microdermabrasion scrub before I but wasn't that impressed but with this one, I was more than satisfied. The instructions say that you should use every other day and then skip a week to allow skin to rejuvenate. I have to tell a secret though: I did not skip a week. I know, I know, you follow directions for the best results but because I loved the way that my skin felt afterwards-supple doesn't even begin to describe it-I couldn't resist. After 30 days I definitely saw a change in my skin. As with the AM/PM Moisturizer, a little goes a long way. A dime size amount (if that much) covers it.

BUT! I do not recommend using this with a Clarisonic. I got a little overzealous and tried it once and my skin was a little TOO polished lol. Just stick with a gentle scrub with your fingers.

Hydroxatone Sunsoak Age-Defying Self Tanner (1oz)
What It Does: Gives a gradual, even tan while fighting the signs of ageing
Key Ingredients: Bronzia17 Complex (Tanning agents that leave a streak free, long lasting tan), Argireline (minimizes the appearance of wrinkles), Hyaluronic Acid (hydrates), Caffeine (increases the appearance of firm skin, SymCalmin (calming and soothing agents), DHA & Erythrulose (produces uniformity).

My Thoughts:
I love the way that I look with a tan but I'm not a fan of self-tanners. Some can make you look like an extra from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, while others don't work at all. And let's not even talk about the scent. I have to say though, I was impressed with this one. I didn't use it the full 30 days but I tried it long enough to build up a healthy, even glow on my body, and I used it a few days on my face. I've yet to find a self-tanner that doesn't have the scent BUT, this one was minimal so that's a plus. I also like the pump dispenser; it dispenses a much smaller amount so it's easier to moderate how much you use.

Overall, I was happy with the results that I received from using the products from this brand, and would definitely recommend them. There's been a change in my skin: the texture is much softer, the few dark spots that I have from acne scars have lightened, the tone is more even, my pores appear smaller and it's hydrated. In my quest to get my skin back to how it was as a teen (near perfect) these have definitely gotten me closer.

Beautiful songstress Christina Aguilera covers the February 2012 issue of Marie Claire. Their Fresh Start Fashion issue, Aguilera is rockin' an oh-so chic S2012 RTW Emporio Armani Blazer (that I seriously need in my life) on the cover.

In the issue (which hits newsstands Tuesday, Jan 17), Aguilera discusses embracing her curves, the highs and lows of the last year, life as a single mother, and her work on NBC's The Voice. Here are more photos from the spread.

I have always loved the softer look (hair, makeup, and clothes) on Christina - her real world attire has left a lot to be desired the last few years. The only time I've been a fan of her style was during the Back To Basics period when she was channeling the 50s screen sirens look to go with the sound of her record. Her look was so clean and classic with a dash of sexiness during that time (she may have been working with a stylist) and I wish she would stick with it (updating it as needed, of course). There's no doubt that she can pull off the sexpot look, but ~~most of the time~~ sometimes, the look ventures into trashy territory and takes away from her beauty.

I think this shoot is a reflection of how things could be with a little better direction and I hope that she takes some cues from it to apply to her own wardrobe in the future.

Fashion News | Solange signs with Next Model Management

It's not a baby, but songbird Solange Knowles has some pretty big news to celebrate this week on her end as well! The current It-Girl and muse to the fashion world has just signed with Next Model Management, one of the largest, most successful agencies in the world.

Launched 22 years ago, NMM currently represents a huge roster all over the world, including supermodels Karlie Kloss and Arizona Muse, and under it's talent umbrella, Alexa Chung, Joy Bryant, Jane Birkin and Pharrell Williams.

Knowles told Vogue UK of the signing:

"Artistic expression is invaluable to me in all walks of my career and I am so excited to continue to develop this path along with such an amazing team at Next Model Management," Knowles told us. "I feel right at home working with people who have worked beside such creative forces in the world."

Solange is not a newbie to modeling (she's done campaigns with Armani Jeans, House of Dereon and Rimmel) so I can't want to see her future work. When she initially came onto the scene, she was modeled after big sister Bey and was a Destiny's Child clone, but once she started working on her second album, something shifted and she really came into her own stylewise. She has a funky-fresh, eclectic look that is all her own (the girl can mix prints like nobody's business) and has developed an underground, almost cult-like following (just search her name on Tumblr).

It looks like the masses are (finally!) starting to recognize she's a huge talent on her own.

Many people on twitter kept asking about my blog or why I didn't have one. I was encouraged to start a Tumblr. I am currently working on a lifestyle blog that will go live early next year.

What has been the best thing about it? Hardest?
It is a creative outlet for me. I enjoy having a voice about the fashion industry and the fact that people enjoy and respond to what I post is incredible.

The hardest is finding the time to do devote to writing. Tumblr is great, but I want to do more.

What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog?
I am a bit of a workaholic, so I work a lot. I spend way too much time on line and have recently cut back quite a bit to focus on my French studies and get caught up on the pile of books that I have put off reading. On my days off, I am usually shopping or at Starbucks working/reading.

Dream Job:
I think the correct response is to work at Vogue, but I would also love to work for Marc Jacobs or Donna Karan. Turning vogue and coffee into more than a hobby would be a dream, as well. We'll see where it takes me.

I wear what I want.

Who/what influences your style?
I adore the French and their effortless, chic style. Emmanuelle Alt, Kate Moss, and Olivia Palermo are strong influences.

Always a difficult question for me to answer. Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Diane von Furstenberg, Michael Kors, and Tom Ford. Christopher Bailey is a genius at Burberry, Galliano is greatly missed, and McQueen was brilliant. I could go on and on and on...

Where are some of your favorite places to shop?
I am currently a Nordstrom addict.

What’s one item in your wardrobe that you can’t live without?
My Frye boots.

What’s a classic item that every woman should own?
A classic trench coat.

Video | OWN Visionaires: Tom Ford Documentary

In case you missed it, here is the full documentary on innovative designer and Oscar-nominated Film Director Tom Form from OWN Network's Visionaries: Inside The Creative Mind series.

This documentary provides a little insight into the day-to-day life (and mind) of this fascinating man. As a fan of Tom Ford's work (both of his line and the work he did with Gucci and YSL), I know that he's a very mysterious and particular man (if you've seen/read any of the press coverage that he had for his beautifully cinematic film, A Single Man, you know what I mean), so I was surprised when I learned about this doc. Needless to say. I was NOT disappointed.

Enjoy...

Being able to see inside the creative process (even just a smidgen) of some of the industry's greats is, IMO, helpful for those pursuing a career in a fashion. There's always something to take away from it, whether it's learning how they got their start, tips on building your brand, to what it's like to work inside a company of that caliber. Ford's drive, attention to detail, and penchant for always being ahead of the (style) curve are why he's so successful at what he does.

Wearing shorts in a heavier fabric during the winter has been a hot trend for the last few years. While it's hardly a new thing to do (remember, fashion IS cyclical), sometimes it's hard to figure out how to wear the look, especially if you're not going the street-style route of cut-offs and motorcycle boots, or the glam/party style of short shorts and heels.

If you're like me (and in search of a happy medium), try the look with textured tights and flats.

If you don't work in a corporate environment, this is a look that is still work-appropriate and polished, but you can easily transition it for dinner with friends by switching the flats out with a pair of booties.

Topping an embellished blouse with a cardigan keeps the look tight (and you warm!), but no worries: as long as you don't add a headband, you won't look like a Blair Waldorf clone ala season 2. Now, if that IS the look you want, there is a whole other level of coordination that needs to be done to pull it off (and we can cover at a later time :) ).

News | Mila Kunas Reveiled as New Face of Dior

The gorgeous actress Mila Kunis (Friends with Benefits, Black Swan, That 70's Show) has been named the new face of French fashion house Dior, and will appear in its spring fashion campaign, shot by Mikael Jansson.

WWD reports that the campaign will break this month in international editions of Elle, Vogue and Madame Figaro, starting with China on January 15, followed by Italy, Russia and France. It will debut in the U.S. in The New York Times on Jan. 29, followed by American publications, including Vanity Fair and Harper’s Bazaar.

Kunis told WWD:

“In my daily life, I don’t wear the most feminine pieces. But I love to feel feminine when I’m on the red carpet,” Kunis said, adding that Dior’s dresses exalt the figure. “I find that Dior is an incredibly grounded house. I always thought what Dior does is so sophisticated, feminine and beautiful.”

Since I first saw her on That 70's Show, I've been a fan of her work and have watched her grow in both her profession and her beauty. Dior's campaigns with other celebrities (Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, Jude Law to name a few) have always had a fresh, youthful sophistication to them so her selection as the new face really doesn't come as a surprise. She is stunning in these photos (her skin is luminous... those eyes... the CLOTHES) and I can't wait to see the full campaign.

TLC's What Not To Wear Co-Host Stacy London talks with MediaBistro about how to work in fashion, the importance of internships, and how getting fired actually helped her career for the better.

If you've never watched What Not To Wear or don't know London's background, I'd advise you to familiarize yourself immediately. London is definitely one to study if you're interested in working as a fashion consultant/stylist, editor, personality, etc. She's always worked in the realm of fashion but has worn maaaany different hats. She's never limited herself to one area; she has a vast knowledge base, a personable approach, and is talented in what she does. Sure she's had celebrity clients but her brand has been built around helping the everyday woman figure out her personal style, not walking the red carpet. Her career (for me at least), is proof positive that working with celebrities is not the only way to measure your level of success in this industry. It's merely a highlight!

If you're in NYC, go by the Museum at FIT to view this exhibit. Daphne Guinness has phenomenal style and this collection, straight from her closet, is not one to miss.

The exhibit features 100 garments and accessories from Guinness's personal collection, plus films, videos, and images of and by her. The last day to visit is this Saturday, January 7, 2012.

How did you get into blogging?
After having my dream job ripped away from me last year and going on a countless number of interviews, I felt defeated and a bit lost. It got to the point where I was turning down everything and wasn't exactly sure why. I always knew what my end goals were, but the journey of getting there was always something I was unsure about. When I came up with the idea to launch Fash Boulevard it felt like the perfect next step to building a brand.

What has been the best thing about blogging? Hardest?
The best thing about blogging is discovering all of the fabulous opportunities out there for fashion bloggers. I entered the blogging world knowing nothing, so I feel unbelievably blessed daily when I receive e-mails from companies, advertisers and even fans who want to work with me. The hardest thing about blogging would have to be the time it takes. Most people don't understand the time and effort that goes into each post. I have literally invested my life into Fash Boulevard which is why I am so passionate about it.

What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog?
You will usually find me working on something having to do with Fash Boulevard these days. I’m always trying to stay two steps ahead because I never want to miss out on an opportunity. On the off chance that I'm not doing something Fash related, I'm most likely consumed with wedding planning. You can always count on finding the latest issue of The Knot in my purse.

Ultimate dream Job:
This is an easy one because it's exactly why I started Fash Boulevard… Owning my own accessories line would be my absolute dream job. Designing shoes, handbags and of course jewelry has always been my passion.

Describe your look in five words:
Classically dramatic, girly, colorful, and modern.

Who/what influences your style?
Window shopping mostly. I love peering in the windows of the stores I could only dream of raiding and imagining a closet full of their designs. I also love a fashion challenge. Whenever I find an unusual blouse or a skirt that doesn't look like it would work with anything, I just have to search high and low for its perfect pairing. It's usually these mini searches that spawn some of my ultra favorite ensembles.

Who are some of your favorite designers?
I have so many it’s hard to narrow them down, but the first few that come to mind are Michael Kors because his designs are seasonally transitional and will stand the test of time. Max Azria because his designs are always refined in design and classically chic. And Christian Siriano, I don’t own any of his pieces but I die for his finale dresses every season.

Where are some of your favorite places to shop?
I adore Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s because they carry a lot of my favorite designer labels all in one store. They both also have private label clothing that I follow religiously. I also love Forever 21 because the prices are perfect and they constantly have new merchandise. And of course I have some online shopping obsessions which include Very.com and ASOS.com. They both have endless amounts of fast fashion selections.

What’s one item in your wardrobe that you can’t live without?
This fall it would have to be a chunky knit cardigan. I tend to find myself freezing everywhere I go, so having a stylishly cut cardigan that I can throw over any winter ensemble is a must for me.

What’s a classic item that every woman should own?
Skinny jeans! I have a pair in almost every wash and even a few bright colors. They pair well with blouses and are super easy to dress up with a great stiletto or ankle boot.

Which trend(s) were you most excited to try this season?
Fur, sequins and chunky heels. You'll probably catch me wearing at least one of these every day this season. I can’t get enough!

Fashion on Film: Which movie(s) inspire you?
“Factory Girl” is a major favorite of mine. I adore Edie Sedgwick and I’m completely enamored with her life. I’m also dying to see “My week with Marilyn.” Anything featuring a peek into Marilyn Monroe’s fascinating life is a must.

Last Fashion/Style book you read:
Style by Lauren Conrad. I have had this book forever and it was just collecting dust on my coffee table, but thanks to a recent cross country plane ride I was able to dive in. Her packing tips were a stand out for me. As a girl who flies literally every month, I need all the packing pointers I can get. Leaving a pair of shoes behind is just not an option. :)

Three magazines that you MUST read monthly:
Glamour, Elle and of course Vogue

Three items in your makeup bag:
Black CoverGirl crayon eyeliner is definitely my favorite make up item of all time. I’ve been using it for years. Chapstick is a must for me, I think I’m addicted. And Cetaphil moisturizer. I can’t start my day without it.

Favorite color of lipstick/lipgloss:
My latest lipstick purchase was Love Devotion by NARS. Its silky smooth and the perfect pink!

Favorite color of nail polish:
OPI’s Lincoln Park at Midnight. It complements most of my ensembles and doesn’t chip for days.

Words of (style) wisdom:
Try to remember to push your fashion boundaries daily. Even if that means throwing on a colorful scarf before leaving the house or purchasing that fabulous oversized cocktail ring you spotted at the mall. Even the smallest things can help evolve your style into something amazing and it will definitely keep you from dipping into those dreaded fashion ruts. And remember, no town is too small for city girl style.

The most important question of all: cookies, cupcakes, or ice cream?
Definitely cupcakes! The streets of LA are lined with divine cupcakeries. It's impossible not to get addicted. Ice cream is messy and cookies can be boring. Cupcakes are seriously delicious and super cute!
