So I’m that person that buys something, holds it in my closet forever, and THEN can’t stop wearing it once I start. I bought this pair of flare denim over a year ago but kept them in my dresser because I wanted to get them hemmed. One day I said eff it, had them cut and now….it’s so hard for me to go back to my skinnies, lol.
When you find denim that fits exactly how you want, you hear the angels sing. For the past few years, I’ve gotten my denim primarily from one brand, but ladies + gents, I’ve added someone new to the list!
I’ve always loved the look of a silky, fancy-ish blouse with distressed denim. It helps to ground the piece while also elevating the denim, so that you have a casual/cool slightly urban look.
This week our temps are officially moving into the 80s (goodbye Spring), so it’s time to pack up all of my lightweight pieces, like this patterned silk bomber.
We know that Spring won’t last long here-once Memphis in May rolls around it starts to get humid-so during these weeks of heaven, we get out as much as possible.
I just got this super skinny pair from Old Navy (OBSESSED), and here’s a roundup for you guys from around the web (just in case you’re looking for a new pair too).
YALL. You have NO idea how happy I was to finally be able to break out my comfy tees, scarves and boots this week!
Everything in Fashion is cyclical. Sometimes it take a few years for a trend to cycle back around (hello 90s grunge), but for most, sometimes it’s simply seasonal. Enter Flare Denim.
