When you’re getting dressed for an event and can’t figure out what to wear, a floral dress is always a good choice. On Thursday I attended Saddle Creek’s Blogger Meetup, and I wanted to be cute and comfy, so I pulled out this uber cute floral midi dress that I got for a steal at Target.
Florals will never get old for me, and I can’t get enough of this ruffle-sleeve floral dress that I found at Old Navy. It had a very UK blogger vibe to me so obviously I had to take it home, lol.
I FINALLY got my hands on a pair of white booties (I winded up ordering these beauties. They are perfect.), and now I need cute Fall dresses to wear them with.
Last night I attended The Memphis Flyer’s Best of Memphis Party and had so much fun with some of my coworkers! CrazyBeautiful, one of the boutiques I shoot with, won for Best Women’s Boutique, so some of us went to celebrate at the event (held at Graceland).
I used to shy away from maxi dresses thinking I was too short for them until I found one that actually fit right. Now? You can’t keep me out of them.

Anyway, I plan to go to more brunches (plus Easter + Mother’s Day are around the corner), so I’m searching for dresses so that I can be prepared. Conveniently, Shopbop is having their Sale of the Season, so in addition to cute dresses, I can also order some more unique shoes + accessories as well.
One of my favorite Fall fashion combos is peasant dresses + booties. The lightweight, floaty dresses are feminine + flirty, with just a touch of boho chicness depending on the pattern.
I have an upcoming wedding that I need to find a dress for, but instead of narrowing down options for that, I’ve been happily distracted by a ton of gorgeous, patterned pieces.
