I'm a born and raised Memphian, so I've always been aware of the city's rich (and sometimes painful) history, but nothing could've prepared me for how my eyes were opened to its beauty during the recent #SteepedInHistory Tour Experience with Toyota.
Located at 600 Monroe in The Edge District (Marshall Arts if you're from Memphis), Edge Alley opened last July and is a stylish, modern cafe and coffee shop. Designed with an open floor plan and community seating, the picturesque space is the perfect spot for both quick meetings with fellow creatives, and chill time with your favorite book and cup of joe.
It's always fun seeing your creative peers come full circle in their work. Back in 2014, Kristin Wolter-Canfield of Everbloom Designs held a floral design workshop that I covered for the blog, and this month, she's finally opening her own studio! Take a peek at her Creative Space.

I've always wanted to attend the Vesta Home Show, + this year I had a chance to preview one of the homes with California Closets Memphis + some of my fellow bloggers.
Something shifted a few years ago where cupcakes became a big "thing" and I, for one was here for it. I've always loved the sweet treat (strawberry is my fave), and I regularly visit Small Cakes in Collierville thanks to a client, lol.

Presented by Ford, Essence My City Four Ways takes over Propcellar on Saturday, November 11th from 12p-5p for a fun, FREE afternoon of entertainment, flavor, art and style.
Last night I attended The Memphis Flyer's Best of Memphis Party and had so much fun with some of my coworkers! CrazyBeautiful, one of the boutiques I shoot with, won for Best Women's Boutique, so some of us went to celebrate at the event (held at Graceland).
